What is Ebru?

Ebru art is a paper art that has survived from the Ottoman Empire and is made using water and paint. One's imagination is at the forefront in the art of marbling. Ebru art is an art that was performed to decorate many book covers in the past, and many people made their living from this art, but today the art of marbling is only done as a hobby.

How Is Ebru Done?

To make marbling, first of all, water concentrated with tragacanth is added to the boat and the desired consistency is achieved and then the liquid prepared in the boat is filtered through cheesecloth and cleaned.

In the next stage of marbling, the earth paints are crushed and put into a paste form, and gall is added to the paint and this mixture is left to rest for 15 days.

After the paint is kept sufficiently, it is diluted and made ready for application and the water with Kitrels is poured into the boat.

The paint is applied as desired and the special paper is put on the boat and the drawn shape is transferred to the paper, thus ending the marbling.

Organisations

The correct and complete performance of the “Pre-Production Preparation and Planning”, which is the first stage of Music Production, is the first condition for success. For this reason, as Studio Ay; After making a preliminary preparation and planning in line with the intended music style, target audience and other expectations, we move on to the Music Production stage.

We continue the Music Production process, which started with the selection of the works to be used in the project, with the "arrangement" stage. Parallel to this process; We simultaneously carry out processes such as determining the tone and tempo, evaluating the lyrics in terms of meaning, phonetics, lyrics & music harmony and making the necessary corrections. After the pilot recordings are made in our professional sound recording studios, we proceed to the instrument selection and sound design stages.

With the shaping of the general anatomy of the song and the ending of the vocal rehearsals; We record soloists and vocalists in our sound recording studios, accompanied by a vocal coach. In Ay Production Studios; After the live recordings are completed with professional / virtuoso instrumentalists and studio musicians under the supervision of the music director, we proceed to the editing of vocal and live instrument recordings. After the editing process, we complete the Music Production process with the mixing and mastering stages.
